In addition, Aspire Health Alliance offers a competitive package of compensation and benefits.New increased, competitive rates for RNs!Under the direction of the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization Nurse Manager and working with the A-CCS Nurses and Prescribing Professionals, works to provide specialized care to adults in a 24-hour behavioral health crisis stabilization setting.Responsible for:<ul><li>Monitoring and Documenting medication self administration during clients’ stay</li><li>Monitoring client physical medical issues and working with Mental Health Workers to arrange for acute medical care for clients when needed</li><li>Facilitating health and wellness groups and activities</li><li>Delivering treatment interventions that are strength based and solution-focused </li><li>Encouraging consumer completed risk management/safety plans and Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP)</li><li>Coordinating with clients’ outpatient and A-CCS care providers</li><li>Completing documentation per shift as assigned </li><li>Participating in ongoing required training</li></ul>Required:<ul><li>Must demonstrate the following characteristics: reliable, responsible, team player, ability to grow and learn in the position, detail-oriented, organized, flexible, capacity to provide support and quality care to improve the physical and mental health of individuals served.</li><li>Must be an independent problem-solver, able to work with minimal supervision when necessary</li><li>One-year experience in an acute mental health and/or dual diagnosis setting (preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with Recovery oriented treatment for severe mental illness (preferred) </li><li>Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelor’s degree)</li><li>Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration</li></ul>Schedule is Monday through Friday 3-11pmCompensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses.
