JSCC offers classes at four locations with the main campus located in Jackson, TN. Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Teach courses on ground at any of the four JSCC locations. In addition, courses may be administered online, hybrid, or FLEX as assigned.</li>
<li>Teach evening, weekend, off-campus, dual enrollment and distance-based courses as required.</li>
<li>Utilize the college’s learning management system (LMS) to provide course materials to students.</li>
<li>Update course syllabi to include name and contact information at least 1 week prior to the first day of class or within seven days of the execution of contract.</li>
<li>Stay abreast of current developments in the teaching discipline.</li>
<li>Attend JSCC’s adjunct orientation.</li>
<li>Collaborate collegially with full-time faculty in preparation and coordination of laboratory exercises and examinations in all modalities of instruction.</li>
<li>Ability to efficiently operate, maintain, and clean standard laboratory supplies including glassware, centrifuges, pH meters, dissection instruments, and microscopes.</li>
<li>Regularly check both your JSCC and eLearn emails and respond to emails/messages within 48 hours.</li>
<li>Submit final lab grades to the instructor of record, Department Chair, or Dean at least 48 hours prior to the final grade deadline.</li>
<li>Complete all required College trainings and reports including, but not limited, to attendance reporting, Early Alerts, cybersecurity training, Title IX training, etc.</li>
<li>Advise the Department Chair, Dean, and Division Secretary as soon as possible in the event you would need to be absent from class.</li>
<li>Comply with all JSCC and TBR policies and guidelines.</li>
