North Idaho College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Information Technology/Cybersecurity to join our dynamic faculty on our beautiful campus in Coeur d Alene.&nbsp;In this role, you will provide engaging, hands-on instruction in a variety of IT and cybersecurity courses using in-person, hybrid, and online formats including Zoom and Canvas. You'll teach 15 credit hours each semester and support students through regular office hours, mentoring, and academic advising. We're looking for a knowledgeable and student-focused educator with strong skills in networking, firewall configuration, virtualization, and troubleshooting. A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles - such as confidentiality, integrity, availability (CIA), and advanced persistent threats (APT) - is essential. Experience with Linux system administration, Python programming, and tools such as Wireshark and Security Onion is highly valued. Familiarity with industry certifications like CompTIA Network+ and Security+ is also important, as you'll help students prepare for credentialing and employment.
