This position will coordinate with the Central Information Sharing and Threat Analysis Center (CITAC) and UKPD Operations units to align and reinforce preparedness, recovery, and resiliency efforts at the University of Kentucky and remote properties.

The major job responsibilities of this position are Strategic Leadership, Emergency Management and Resiliency Program Administration, Operations and Coordination, Documentation and Organizational Resilience, and Information and Physical Assessments.

Specific duties include providing executive oversight of the university’s campus emergency operation plan, leading the development of after-action reports, and leading the emergency operations center during events and incidents. This position will collaborate with CITAC in gathering threats, gaps, and vulnerability assessments that affect the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, patients, and visitors as needed. This position will lead the development of templates, ICS resource and recovery documentation, and other tools to monitor and track response and recovery of incidents. This position will also collaborate with UKPD leadership and federal entities in the management of natural, technological, or human-caused disasters, and other emergencies.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThis position will require candidates to take a polygraph examination as part of the University Police Department’s employment process.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
