Working in partnership with Ballad Health, this role delivers classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction; supports student skill development; and ensures a positive, professional learning environment. This position is funded through December 31, 2026, with continuation dependent upon available grant funding.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.</li>

The adjunct practical nursing instructor, under the direction of the Director of Clinical Education along with the PN faculty, shall be responsible for assisting in planning, developing, initiating, and teaching the approved instructional program for practical nursing students in both the classroom and clinical setting.&nbsp;In addition, the adjunct practical nursing instructor shall maintain appropriate program and student records for documentation and evaluation; provide individual evaluation of each student’s progress with counseling and appropriate recommendations when required; supervise students’ clinical experiences as scheduled; and maintain good public relations with clinical partners.&nbsp;The adjunct instructor will also assist with student placement and student follow-up; participate in recruitment of students; cooperate with outside agencies; work with program advisory committees; conduct visits to business and industry; and establish and maintain good public relations within the college’s service area.&nbsp;Some travel is required.
