Job Title: Temporary Part-time Nursing Facilitator
Flat Rate:&nbsp;$19.00 per hour
Campus Location:&nbsp;Walters State Community College - Sevier County Campus (Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.)
Job Purpose:&nbsp;This is a one-year Tennessee Department of Labor grant position. The purpose of this position is to assist with administrative areas of the department. This includes enrollments, class preparation, communication to students, and assistance in other relevant areas. Particularly, this position will assist the nursing facilitators and adjunct faculty with all areas of WFT allied health administrative course preparation activities. 
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Provide clerical and administrative assistance to assist students, staff, and other adjunct faculty in the Workforce Training Office.</li>
<li>Assist with medical/clinical partnerships to facilitate student clinical learning experiences.</li>
<li>Assist in allied health course development and examination preparation and administration, as needed.</li>
<li>Help with both prospective and current student inquiries as well as help with student registration, class preparation and scheduling.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Help with the daily maintenance of student data base (Campus CE).</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:

<li>High school diploma will be accepted with at least 2 years of experience working in an office setting. </li>
</ul>

<li>Experience working in a college setting.

<li>Proficiency in computer technology.

Job Summary
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is accepting applications for the Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor position to work at the TCAT Knoxville Main Campus. This position will typically work 18 to 30 hours per week. POSITION SUMMARY: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories. PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM: The Practical Nursing Program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. Graduates will obtain a diploma in Practical Nursing and may then be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN) used to obtain nursing licensure in Tennessee. Practical Nursing is entry-level nursing. Graduates are prepared with the background and skills to give knowledgeable, basic nursing care to patients with varying degrees of physical needs. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. Positions are available in hospitals, long-term care facilities, physician's offices, home health agencies, and various other healthcare settings.

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an active license in Tennessee as a Registered Nurse (RN); minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing required. • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an RN within the last five years. 
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and teaching experience are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication and computer skills. • Evidence of ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
SALARY: This position's rate of pay is $35.00 per hour.

Job Purpose:&nbsp;This is a one-year Tennessee Department of Labor grant full-time position ending 06/30/2026. The purpose of this position is to organize meetings with local key stakeholders and assist the Director in communicating information about grant activities. The nursing facilitator will teach designated allied health training programs. This position requires oversight on online Allied Health training programs. The nursing facilitator will be responsible for scheduling and reporting clinical activities for designated programs. The nursing facilitator will perform at least 1875 hours on RHWDI grant activities. This position will involve administrative support for WFT Allied Health Director, as needed. 
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Teach allied health courses in the classroom/laboratory/ clinical settings. Instruction in other specialty areas may be required. May teach large or small groups.</li>
<li>Participate in stakeholder meetings and presentations, student advising, departmental and divisional meetings. Evaluate student learning and maintain class records. Assess educational outcome measures and complete academic reporting as required.</li>
