This role does not require nights, weekends, or holidays. Position SummaryThe RN performs pre-surgical nursing assessments and provides education to the patient prior to admission at the Ambulatory Surgery Center.&nbsp; The RN assesses and evaluates the care needs of the patient, requests necessary pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics, and communicates the patient's plan of care to the ASC.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the RN include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Work with all members of the health care team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout their surgical experience</li><li>Maintain a friendly, positive and caring attitude with all patients, physicians and staff</li><li>Assist in patient education during all phases of their experience at the Center</li><li>Assist in assuring that the proper supplies, instruments and equipment are available for the procedure</li><li>Assist in assuring that equipment is functioning properly</li><li>Monitor use of all supplies. Our mission is to provide quality and compassionate medical care to the community, to educate and assist patients in their healing process and to create a safe and inviting environment for our patients and staff. We are looking for a full-time therapist for our Bellevue office.&nbsp;Under the indirect supervision of the clinical director, and by doctor referral or direct access, the staff Certified Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) will evaluate the patient’s condition, plan and initiate a treatment program, maintain appropriate records, and create a rehabilitation program to fit the therapeutic and functional needs of the patient. The Certified Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) will interpret and report patient’s progress and results to the appropriate Physician.
