Position Summary:&nbsp;The overall purpose of this position is to provide administrative support for the college’s Dual Enrollment Program. Major functions of the position are fielding customer service inquiries via phone, email, and in person from current and prospective students and parents; helping students through the enrollment process; scheduling appointments; and database management.
Essential Functions:
50% Serve as the frontline customer service contact for Student Services.
<ul>
<li>Assist students/parents with all onboarding/enrollment questions as it pertains to Dual Enrollment. Assess student needs and provide direct assistance to students in helping them apply to Pellissippi State, enroll in classes, collect documents, apply for funding and help them understand the appropriate forms, processes, and procedures.</li>
<li>Provide individual assistance to students including but not limited to analyzing and troubleshooting individual needs and assisting with on-line self-service accounts (ex., view/change their personal information, and apply for the Dual Enrollment Grant).</li>
<li>Provide information to students, parents, staff, and high school partners regarding all enrollment and dual enrollment funding questions and/or requirements, including but not limited to myPellissippi navigation, transcripts, payments, testing, secure document upload, alerts and general information about the college and events in person, via telephone, email, US mail, and on-line using extensive knowledge of FERPA, College policy, state, and federal Regulations.</li>
<li>Collect, scan, download and update documents via various forms of electronic or non-electronic submission.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
25% Utilize applicable software programs/websites such as: myPellissippi, Banner (INB and SSB), Argos, BDMS, FAST, ETC, Studentaid.gov, TSAC portal, etc. and provide guidance to students/parents on how to navigate the applicable websites and assist students with accessing account information including:&nbsp; interpreting registration holds, providing prerequisite overrides and clarifying dual enrollment eligibility requirements. Organize, maintain, document, and archive students’ documents within BANNER.
20% Educate prospective dual enrollment students and parents by presenting at events throughout the year. Provide presentations and answer questions regarding admissions requirements, DE grant application processes, and steps for enrolling, etc.
5% Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma and 5 years of customer service or call center experience to include financial aid required, or an Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of customer service or call center experience to include financial aid, or a Bachelor’s degree&nbsp;from an accredited institution and 2 years of customer service or call center experience to include financial aid.

<li>Maintains testing statistics and reports on testing outcomes to relevant stakeholders.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Facilitates communication between testing stakeholders, including students, instructors, administrators, and testing agencies.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Works with the Director to develop, modify, update, and interpret testing policies.</li>
<li>Works with the Director to ensure adherence to all relevant testing policies, procedures, and regulations, including those of the college, third-party testing agencies, and the National College Testing Association (NCTA). <li>Successfully completes the requirements necessary to achieve certification to administer a number of standardized exams, such as CLEP, DSST, Pearson-Vue and HISET and administers exams as necessary.</li>

<li>Coordinates the recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling of temporary part-time (TPT) employees. Initiates employment contracts, monitors the TPT budget, and oversees the submission of timesheets for payroll.</li>

Consideration will be given to a comparable combination of education and directly related experience. • Must possess a high degree of knowledge of all areas involved in the diesel field • Must have a minimum of 3 years of related work experience in the Diesel Field. • Current ASE Service Technician Certifications are required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Post-secondary training of a diploma or associate's degree in a related field. • ASE Master Technician in Medium/Heavy Duty Repair • Teaching experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Must have a strong hands-on technical background in all aspects of diesel technology. • Must possess the organizational and communications skills necessary to be an effective teacher. • Must commit to remain current in the field of Diesel Technology. • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Must possess computer skills and ability to utilize technology to enhance teaching.

Position Summary: The Motorsports Team Coordinator will oversee the operations of our student-led Formula SAE (FSAE) team. This individual will act as the primary administrative authority for the team, maintain regular communication with student leaders, monitor progress, and ensure the team stays on schedule. Rather than providing hands-on technical design or fabrication, the Team Coordinator will assist with logistics, planning, and administrative tasks while providing guidance when needed. The ideal candidate fosters student accountability while guiding the team through the complexities of a large-scale technical project. One of the main goals of this role is to help maintain long-term sustainability for the team, so future students can continue to be involved and benefit from the experience.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Act as the main administrative contact for the FSAE team, connecting students with faculty, school administration, and sponsors. • Fosters student accountability while guiding the team through the complexities of a large-scale technical project. • Receive updates from team leaders and help ensure goals and deadlines are met. • Support students in organizing the team and resolving management challenges. • Coordinate team recruitment and outreach event participation. • Manage purchasing, budgeting, and material procurement. • Manage logistics for events, including travel and registration. • Attend weekly team meetings to stay updated and offer support.

Job Duties
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, coordinate, and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures to promote compliance at all locations. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with the O&amp;M teams especially the Chief of Police, Director of Physical Plant, and Compliance Officer to identify and communicate opportunities for organizational improvements as part of the Safety and Security Team, understanding the mission alignment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with Operations and Maintenance (O&amp;M) teams to support compliance, risk mitigation, and emergency preparedness within a higher education environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and all stakeholders. Prepare and submit all required reports to appropriate agencies.
• Create, implement, and update safety plans and policies, including but not limited to: Chemical Hygiene Plan, Bloodborne Pathogens Program, Hazard Communication Plan, Safety Data Sheet Access, Emergency Preparedness Plans, and Life Safety Plans.
• Manage hazardous, biological, and chemical waste reduction and abatement efforts, ensuring proper handling, storage, labeling, and disposal.
• Chair the Roane State Emergency Management Team and ensure the emergency plan is updated at least annually.
• Lead the Safety Committee, maintaining and updating the Health and Safety Manual annually.
• Maintain OSHA safety logs and all required recordkeeping and reporting, ensuring compliance with administrative safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions, eliminating risks to employees, students, and facilities.
• Perform safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate and assist with monitoring, auditing, testing, and inspections required by EPA, TDEC, OSHA, TOSHA, NFPA, and state fire and elevator inspectors. This includes fire extinguishers, AED stations, first aid kits, elevator certifications, chemical lab hood certifications, safety signage, and ADA or safety audits.
• Prepare and conduct required training, exercises, and drills for staff, ensuring continuous review and improvement of safety training programs.
• Review, maintain, and report accident and incident logs.
• Conduct Investigations as necessary and as requested by Compliance Officer.
• Serve as backup for the Compliance Officer for related duties including the college’s business continuity plan.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• At least three years of experience in safety, security, or compliance-related functions. • Organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing health and safety documentation and workflows in a higher education environment. • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to address compliance gaps and operational risks. 
Preferred Qualifications
