The Maintenance I teammate troubleshoots, repairs, and perform preventive maintenance actions on material handling equipment and other facility support systems in the distribution center environment. Benefits you can count on: <ul><li>Generous benefits that start on your 60th day: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance.</li><li>Earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one and paid holidays after 90 days.</li><li>401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.</li><li>Additional benefits: pet insurance, parental leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!</li></ul> What you'll do as a Warehouse Maintenance I: <ul><li>Ensure that spare parts usage, inventory and work order actions are accurately tracked and documented according to Company policy.</li><li>Assist with DC maintenance requirements such as (but not limited to) refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting.</li><li>Maximize availability of all classes of batteries by managing charging cycles and battery rotation.</li><li>Perform inspections and cleaning; do specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage.</li><li>Develop a working knowledge of the required aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned. </li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate: <ul><li>At least 18 years of age.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.</li><li>At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.</li><li>Able to read and understand electrical schematics.</li><li>Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including (but not limited to) forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations.</li><li>Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection. </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
