This role is primarily responsible for establishing a team environment by providing direct leadership, technical expertise and workflow management to associates assigned to their defined benefit clients serviced from a consultative perspective. In addition, the Analyst will support the strategic direction of the business, lead highly complex issues to resolution and work with domain professionals to solution client improvements and enhancements through corporate actions &amp; change orders. The Analyst will also engage with other lines of business on projects that affect other Defined Benefit products and services. We are looking for someone to join our great team of professionals, who enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can provide quality work and a best-in-class client/customer experience.</p> <h3><strong>The Expertise and Skills You Bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience</li> <li>5-10+ years of defined benefit/pension plan administration experience</li> <li>Experience in Project Management and/or Analytics</li> <li>Ability to balance day to day management of several project related responsibilities and tasks including highly prioritized requests.</li> <li>Demonstrate leadership ability with self-motivation and determination</li> <li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills including ability to perform complex manual calculations.</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access and working experience with data analytics</li> <li>Client Management experience</li> <li>You have critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You are a leader with self-motivation and determination to succeed and ability to coach and mentor others</li> <li>You must be technically inclined with application experience and competence including proficiency with various Defined Benefit Plan structures, complex calculations, and data (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, etc.). Ability to perform calculations using directions documents.</li> <li>Good communication, both verbal and written; ability to implement/facilitate change. Forward looking, analytic, continuous improvement mentality</li> <li>Demonstrate a mix of analytics and technical skills. Ability to run queries, analyze and organize large amounts of data and identify root cause and work towards solutions</li> <li>Project consulting experience including requirement discovery and solution design</li> <li>You have a solid ability to balance, prioritize multiple projects and understanding of risk management and time management</li> <li>You have an ability work within budgeted timeframes to maintain client profitability without sacrificing quality</li> </ul> <h3><strong>The Team</strong></h3> <p>This role will reside within Workplace Investing Defined Benefit Operations organization. You will be responsible for handling and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of Defined Benefit client servicing, business reporting, contractual obligations, and internal scale &amp; efficiency initiatives. You will support DB’s interests in collaborating with the cross product/functional SME’s, Center of Excellence and other lines of business. You will work to solve problems and be empowered to make decisions based on trends, issues, and business drivers.</p> <h3><strong>COVID Work Policy</strong></h3> <p>Safety is our top priority.
