EDO delivers critical data-related initiatives that accelerate ongoing digital transformation at American Express, enhance the overall customer experience, strengthen our data strategy and practices, and drive our continued growth.American Express continues to invest in enterprise data management, and as part of the journey, we are seeking we are seeking a Senior Manager to support data policy integration and develop training materials that educate and promote data management best practices and data literacy.&nbsp;Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborating with policy and standard owners and their teams across the enterprise to identify data-related requirements that require updates to policies, standards, and other supporting documentation</li><li>Identifying changes within other policies and standards that have an impact on Data Risk and data-related policies</li><li>Draft and maintain materials related to cross-risk operationalization and control requirements</li><li>Drafting, maintaining and delivering training materials related to Data Risk, Data Management, and Data Governance policies and standards, for a variety of audiences with different roles and skill sets</li><li>Collaborating with the Enterprise Data Office Program Management team to ensure training materials fit within the broader curriculum and are tailored to the appropriate audiences and using different training modalities</li><li>Support key training metrics and evaluation processes to measure effectiveness and track adoption and develop and refine training materials as needed</li></ul>Qualifications Requirements:<ul><li>A strong strategic approach with 5+ years prior experience in Data Management and Data Governance </li><li>Prior experience (5+ years) focused on learning and development and / or training strategy and planning</li><li>Experience gained at large US and / or global financial institutions</li><li>Comfortable operating in an environment with ambiguity, using structure, influence, and prioritization to keep the work and team on track</li><li>Detail oriented with a high degree of personal accountability; strong self-starter with an ability to autonomously multi-task and meet competing deadlines</li><li>Proven ability to influence and motivate stakeholders within and outside of your direct authority to achieve aggressive goals</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts in a manner consumable by a broad stakeholder base, including a senior executive audience guardian</li></ul>Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
