Custodial Supervisor

Under the direction of the Program Director, the Clinical Supervisor&nbsp;at the Discovery Day Treatment Program is part of a multi-disciplinary team which provides quality clinical care to consumers with serious and persistent mental illnesses and/or who are suffering serious disturbances in life functioning due to a psychiatric problem.&nbsp; This position will be responsible, along with program leadership, for the clinical support and development of the Discovery staff.&nbsp; This position will work with the program director on developing trainings, providing group and individual supervision, and reviewing the clinical care clients. The four spaces total an overall square footage of 325,000, the largest being the principal site at 32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, a LEED Gold certified building.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Directs operations relating to facilities management to the benefit of the mission and goals of the Harvard Art Museums. Ensures that all venues are well-maintained, safe, secure and efficiently managed.</li><li>Develops an in-depth knowledge of the facilities in the portfolio, particularly with respect to complex features including glass, lighting and shade systems, HVAC systems and interior and exterior materials.</li><li>Partnering with the Deputy Director, sets short- and long-range goals and priorities for facilities management. Provides proactive recommendations in long-range strategic planning for preventative maintenance and service, as well as future projects.</li><li>Both directly and with Facilities Managers, manages and deploys a workforce of approximately 20, including direct reports and 3rd party university and commercial vendors.</li><li>Develops and sustains close and critical working relationship with Safety &amp; Security and Visitor Services departments. Actively participates as a member of the Museums Management Team (MMT), Emergency Management Team (LEMT), Internal Operations Team.</li><li>Initiates and maintains effective communication with colleagues in other museum departments.
