The Housing Operations Coordinator contributes to the housing operational workflows, processes, and procedures for the health, well-being, and success of CSU residential students.<p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p><p>Housing Operations:</p><ul><li>Assist the Director for Housing Operations with the oversight of the department’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient systems are in place to meet professional standards for timely and sensitive response to students’, families’, and CSU community members’ questions, concerns, and requests for information regarding policies, housing assignments, access control, student conflicts and general assistance.</li><li>Assist with the oversight of the efficient and effective coordination of university-wide residential community openings and closings to include collaboration with offices on early arrivals and needed housing during breaks (e.g., Athletics, Admissions, Access Control, Auxiliary Services, Campus Support Services, and the division of Campus Engagement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).</li><li>Oversee Central Office operations and provide administrative support to all professional staff.</li><li>Assist with all major operations projects, including, but not limited to, returning student housing selection, mid-year housing assignments, and first year placements.</li><li>Assess charges to students’ accounts through THD for room change adjustments and miscellaneous charges in conjunction with the Director for Housing Operations.</li><li>Assist with all summer housing assignments, room changes, cancellations, and transitions.</li><li>Assist with all early arrival and contract extension processes under the direction of the Director for Housing Operations.</li><li>Assist with all pending assignment list and wait list assignment processes, including supporting the Residential Education staff in the day-to-day room change process.</li><li>Manage departmental access control processes including Aurora access and key and key code management under the direction of the Director for Housing Operations and the Director for Residential Facilities.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of new resident key and welcome packets at the start of and throughout the year.</li><li>Manage the Room Condition Report (RCR) process by working with the Residential Education staff to ensure that RCRs are completed throughout the year, during opening, room changes, and mid-year arrivals.</li><li>Generate administrative reports, evaluate assessment data, and conduct housing research as needed.</li><li>Assist with departmental marketing and outreach efforts, including but not limited to, participating in University recruitment efforts, housing tour management, and model room management.</li><li>Provide support to the Assistant Director for Finance and Administration for all invoicing and accounts payable operation.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee the Mail Distribution Operations for the residential communities.</li><li>Oversee the Desk Operations for the residential community desks and supervise all Desk Assistants and desk staff.</li><li>Lead and/or assist in special projects that effect the success of the department, including, but not limited to: Summer Conference Coordination, Summer Intern Housing, Living-Learning Community communication, Athletics housing, and more.</li></ul><p>Staff Supervision:</p><ul><li>Recruit, train, and directly supervise the student Office Assistants, Desk Assistants, Mail Distribution Assistants (as applicable).</li><li>Indirectly support and provide guidance to professional live-in Community Directors, particularly related to housing operations and assignments management responsibilities in conjunction with the Director for Housing Operations.</li><li>Provide and support staff recognition initiatives and promote professional development opportunities.</li></ul><p>Student Support:</p><ul><li>Advise students and family members in decision-making and provide resource referrals to help support student success and well-being.</li><li>Provide and support student recognition initiatives and promote leadership opportunities.</li><li>Provide timely and sensitive response, outreach, and relationship building for students of concern as needed.</li></ul><p>Department and Divisional Leadership:</p><ul><li>Be accessible, visible, and present for relevant/occasional university speakers and athletics events; Are you ready to be part of something big?</p><br>As a Collision Estimator, you’ll interact daily with customers, insurance companies, and parts Associates to ensure the repair process is as smooth as possible. You also take great pride in using your excellent communication skills and empathetic nature to help customers through the process.<br> <br><h2>What are the daily job responsibilities?</h2><ul><li>Greeting customers and discussing repair options.</li><li>Determining repair needs based on customer information, vehicle walk-around, inspections and test drives.</li><li>Asking for the sale on all estimates.</li><li>Meeting or exceeding targeted sales goals as well as the targeted customer satisfaction index.</li><li>Understanding basic parameters of collision repair as well as insurance programs (e.g., DRP and non-DRP).</li><li>Producing repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency.</li><li>Communicating frequently with technicians and parts Associates to ensure timely completion of work.</li><li>Following up with customers on the status of their vehicle based on how the customer wants to be informed and answering customer questions as needed.</li><li>Managing multiple repairs simultaneously.</li><li>Working with other Associates on daily planning and release meetings.</li><li>Processing transactions and ensuring 100% compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.</li><li>Following up with customers to ensure we have met their expectations.</li><li>Building rapport with customers to create a base of referrals.</li><li>Gaining superior product knowledge to effectively help customers.</li><li>Ensuring that all administrative processes are handled in a timely fashion and in compliance with company policies.</li><li>Providing exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.</li></ul><h2>What are the requirements for the Collision Estimator?</h2><ul><li>Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.</li><li>Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.</li><li>Detail-oriented and organized. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Prior sales or retail experience preferred but not required.</li><li>Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.</li><li>Experience and desire to work with technology.</li><li>Must have a valid, in-state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.</li></ul><h2>What are the opportunities for career growth?</h2><ul><li>Our Associates have many choices for career growth and development after success in a Collision Estimator role.
