Title:&nbsp;Enrollment Operations Assistant Division: Strategic Enrollment Management Department: Undergraduate Admissions FLSA Status:&nbsp;Non-Exempt Salary Range:&nbsp;Grade 7: $16.02/hour EEO Job Group:&nbsp;5 E5 Position Summary The Enrollment Operations Assistant performs various functions within Enrollment Management under limited supervision for Undergraduate and International Admissions, to perform general tasks and assignments related to admissions, evaluations, and transfer credit with emphasis on admission processing. This position is responsible for assisting with processing new applicants, domestic and international transcript evaluations. The position actively collaborates with other university staff involved in various aspects of admissions and records processing, to ensure that related processes are completed in a timely manner. Duties/Responsibilities&nbsp; <ul><li>Assist with assessing international applicants' documents and transcripts to determine admission eligibility for both Freshmen &amp; Transfer applicants. </li><li>Perform significant data entry, verification, updates, evaluations, and reviews using multiple student information databases to include the CRM. </li><li>Create queries in the CRM to assess critical data points needed or missing (such as student type, status, term, etc.). </li><li>Assist with performing data imports and exports from the CRM to support enrollment initiatives that may involve other campus units and divisions. </li><li>Handle telephone and email inquiries. </li><li>Utilize information from high school and college transcripts and additionally submitted credentials to perform transcript/credential evaluations. </li><li>Perform duties involving document management, scanning, indexing, and verifying documents and data. Manage incoming mail, processes for marking documents as received and scanning materials after review. </li><li>May correspond with students about application statuses, questions, requests, or decisions rendered on applications, regarding admissions. </li><li>May track and pre-treat college transcripts, following procedural training, documentation and guidance from functional leads and supervisors. </li><li>Perform a broad array of admissions processing and customer service functions. </li><li>Maintain a strong working knowledge in various steps of the enrollment process including specialized areas such as financial aid, orientation, and advising. </li><li>Demonstrate strong team relationships by working collaboratively with direct team and other departments. </li><li>Assist Executive Director for Enrollment and/or Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions with special projects as identified. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Required Knowledge and Skills <ul><li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Three years of business office experience, or a combination of education and experience required. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with various constituents including students, professional organizations, government agencies, vendors, and other offices within the University.</li><li>Must be able to shift priorities at a moment’s notice and several times throughout the day. </li><li>Refined organizational and time management skills required. </li><li>Demonstrated computer, data entry, and word processing skills required. Experience with and understanding Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects with a high level of accuracy on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions required. </li><li>Ability to assume responsibility and work under limited supervision exercising independent judgment required.</li></ul> Preferred Knowledge and Skills <ul><li>Associate degree or previous college coursework strongly preferred.</li></ul> Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements <ul><li>Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.</li><li>Occasional overtime may be required.</li></ul> About USI&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; The University of Southern Indiana is a public higher education institution located on a beautiful&nbsp;1,400-acre campus in Evansville, IN.
