This role will act as the primary strategic and executional conduit between the US and Global ICV Pricing and Access Strategy Leads (PASLs), LOE strategy and be responsible for ensuring worldwide strategic alignment, identification of synergistic opportunities across markets and brands, and identification of cross-market risks that could negatively impact ICV-wide effectiveness, efficiency and gross-to-net (GTN) viability.The Senior Director will be responsible for developing integrated market access /pricing input to inform above-brand and across-brand ICV portfolio strategy and prioritization decisions. This role is pivotal in identifying, incorporating, and developing solution-oriented recommendations for cross-market opportunities and risks into ICV strategic development and execution, including global to local market implementations. He/she will lead this process through cross functional engagement, coordination and collaboration with Market Access leaders in Global and US Access Strategy, Pricing, and HEOR.The position is cross functional in nature and is part of a highly matrixed organization. In addition to ICV Market Access colleagues, the Senior Director will partner with leaders of Commercial, Medical, BI&amp;T, Global/US Policy and Clinical Development to optimize the BMS ICV portfolio in an increasingly challenging and dynamic access environment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and lead the Immunology and Cardiovascular portfolio access and pricing strategy in support of the commercialization portfolio strategy for current budget, strategic plan, and LTFP time horizons.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify, analyze and incorporate asset and/or indication-specific policy, pricing and access opportunities/risks to shape strategic approaches that optimize a given brand across all relevant markets while balancing the health of the full portfolio.</li><li>Monitor, identify and intervene, as needed, on behalf of the organization in market-specific decision-making processes that may have a deleterious impact on larger markets and/or the organization as a whole.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with US and Global policy / government affairs colleagues to monitor, assess, anticipate and educate the broader organization on positive and negative implications of pending and in-force policies, both formal and informal, and lead cross-functional efforts in the development of related mitigation steps to support the optimization of the ICV portfolio and its respective brands. Be critically involved in IRA, MFP, LOE strategy considerations as well as biosimilars and authorized generics global strategy and impact.</li><li>Collaborate closely with US Access Strategy, Global Launch Strategy, Pricing, Finance, and BI&amp;T to assess and manage both near term (GTN) and longer term (LTFP) access and pricing trade-off decisions.&nbsp; Lead the LTFP process for ICV, ensuring accuracy for all pricing and access inputs. Develop processes and cross-functional involvement and alignment to improve LTFP management.</li><li>Actively participate in asset specific Pricing &amp; Market Access (P&amp;MA) recommendations tied to asset governance decisions (ID3, ID4, DEX, etc) to ensure alignment with portfolio opportunities.</li><li>Create and manage the initial ICV-wide budget, including operating expenses and headcount resources, needed to support access launch strategy across all markets.</li><li>Partner with Global Commercial and GMAx EA/BD lead to support integration of external opportunities into portfolio planning and resource allocation.</li><li>Serve as key member of the ICV leadership team, partnering closely with Global Launch Strategy, US Access Strategy, and HEOR.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Undergraduate degree required, an advanced degree (MBA and/or PhD) degree desired.</li><li>Minimum of 10+ years’ pharmaceutical experience with a strong track record in Market Access in a Global/WW or large country market. Pricing experience required.
