This position is vital in managing strategic and key supplier relationships. He or she will develop and execute sourcing strategies in line with business needs and product line requirements.</p><p><strong>***COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT EXP PREFERRED***</strong></p><ul><li>Review specs, proposals, drawings, and manufacturer quotes for the development of purchase orders</li><li>Conduct spend analysis to identify costs savings opportunities</li><li>Develop&nbsp; and manage 3rd party suppliers who will meet or exceed company delivery, quality, and cost objectives</li><li>Negotiate with vendors and manufacture representatives for best pricing</li><li>Partner with and support the estimating team during the bidding process to ensure success</li><li>Reconcile vendors for accuracy</li><li>Manage and utilize inventory to maximize gross profit and increase margin</li><li>Communicate with the organization on market conditions, changes in products, changes in price levels, terms, discounts, allowances, promotions with suppliers</li></ul><h4>Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities</h4><ul><li>HS Diploma</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience.&nbsp;</li><li>The ability to read product specifications.</li><li>Demonstrated negotiation experience.</li><li>Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.</li><li>Experience with AutoQuotes and Sage a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Work Location: Belcamp, MD / In-Person</strong></p><p><strong>Compensation: $</strong></p><p>Please visit our careers page today to upload your resume and apply online!</p><p>EOE/M/F/Veterans/Disability</p>
