Job Summary
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the full-time, grant-funded position of Program Coordinator at the South Central Correctional Center in Clifton, Tennessee. GENERAL DUTIES • Providing on-site functional supervision and support to lead instructors who provide vocational training to correctional students in the Building Construction Trades and HVAC programs. • Managing grant reporting and compliance requirements. • Assisting lead instructors in maintaining student academic records. • Co-teaching with lead instructors and serving as substitute instructor in either program, as needed. • Entering student registrations and conducting orientations. • Assisting with the purchase of identified supplies and equipment for the TCAT correctional facility programs. • Assisting with program budget management to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. • Assisting with the management of technology and equipment associated with the TCAT correctional programs. • Serve as liaison and point of contact between correctional facility personnel and TCAT Crump administration. • Travel between the correctional facility and TCAT Crump campuses will be required. • Other duties as assigned 
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. • At least 3 years professional experience; supervisory experience preferred. • Must possess organizational and communication skills. • Evidence of good character, mature attitude, and stable personality. • Intermediate computer skills required. • Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

General Duties

<li>Assist with the annual Records Holding Report; maintain, prepare and submit certificates of destruction; disseminate information on state records disposal guidelines.</li>
<li>Supervise and evaluate assigned employees.</li>
<li>Support the Safety and Security Coordinator.</li>
<li>Assist in public relations and recruiting for the institution.</li>
<li>Maintain required personnel and human resource functions to meet federal and state agencies, and accreditation agencies guidelines.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Conduct employee exit process</li>
<li>Monitor Affirmative Action Plan</li>
<li>Prepare travel authorizations and travel claims.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as directed and assigned by the administration.</li>

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience and according to salary guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.

Minimum Qualifications:

<li>Post-secondary education in Health Information Management, Medical Office Administration, or healthcare related field</li>
<li>Certified Professional Coder, related certification or ability to obtain professional certification</li>
<li>Three years’ work experience in the field of medical coding and billing and electronic health record systems or related experience</li>
<li>Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective instructor</li>
<li>Commitment to utilizing technology in the teaching/learning experience and willingness to stay up-to-date on current and upcoming technology</li>
</ul>
General Duties:

<li>Teach all phases of the Health Information Management Technology Program including: customer service, business communications, medical insurance, electronic health records, medical coding and billing, medical terminology and basic anatomy.</li>
