In this role, your responsibilities will include : <ul><li> Collaborating with the Bakery Manager to facilitate smooth and efficient operations. </li><li> Managing inventory by ordering, displaying, and maintaining bakery items. </li><li> Assisting in training, developing, and motivating Associates to foster a cohesive and high-performing team. </li><li> Upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards, adhering to proper food-handling protocols. </li><li> Providing friendly and exceptional service to all customers. </li></ul> Qualifications for Success: <ul><li> 1+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, preferably in a managerial role, showcasing your ability to inspire and guide others effectively </li><li> Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification </li><li> Possess business acumen and excellent time management skills. </li><li> Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and commitment to food safety practices. </li><li> Ability to work in varied temperature-controlled environments, including refrigerators and freezers. </li><li> Strong attention to detail, business acumen, self-motivation, and the capability to work independently. </li><li> Flexibility to accommodate a varied schedule, including nights and weekends, to support operational needs. </li></ul> Physical Requirements: <ul><li> Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally </li><li> Ability to push and pull up to 90 lbs of force occasionally </li><li> Occasional: Sitting and climbing; frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and handling </li><li> Frequent: Head turn, trunk bend, side reach, grasp, power grip, pinch, finger manipulation, &amp; feel </li><li> Constant - Stand, handling, &amp; forward reach </li></ul> Why Dierbergs is Different: <ul><li> Our culture makes us unique.
