Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Requisition Coordinator to work in our Quality department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. The Quality department provides Material Acquisition Support for the Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&amp;Q) Directorate. &nbsp;You will report to the Senior Quality Manager Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Activate and fulfill orders using effective methods, Blanket Ordering Agreements (including Business-to-Business agreements), Purchase-Card, or computer material ordering system. May procure nuclear grade procurements/services supporting safety functions.</li><li>Provide status for material orders and services to assist in accurate scheduling and delivery of internal and external work.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors, buyers, planners, technician/crafts, and customers using effective communication methods to facilitate order delivery of materials and services. Input vendor and purchase order data into a computer system. Prepare Bills of Materials.</li><li>Interpret technical content of specifications, review and may develop statements of work (SOW), research vendor data, apply quality control requirements, identify potential sources of materials, and integrate all requirements into specification based requisitioning documents.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service to vendors and the procurement specialists to help ensure vendors are being added to the systems to facilitate mission enabling acquisitions.</li><li>May contact vendors for pricing information, to expedite the delivery of purchased items, or to place orders for standard, off-the-shelf merchandise according to pre-negotiated contract prices.</li><li>May complete tasks related to warehouse/kitting and staging.</li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements: <ul><li>Level 3: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years relative experience or Master’s Degree and 2 years of relative experience or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.</li><li>Level 4: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years relative experience or Master’s Degree and 6 years of relative experience or 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.</li><li>Experience in technical material procurement.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Material Acquisition process.</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.&nbsp;</li></ul> Desired Education, knowledge and experience: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.</li><li>Experience with INL Material Acquisition process.</li></ul> Physical Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, use hands to handle materials, manipulate tools, keyboard and type, reach with hands and arms, and operate job related equipment.
