SUMMARY: Leads the development, implementation, and overall management of the Credit Union’s comprehensive business continuity strategy and crisis management program.&nbsp; This position is responsible for ensuring the strategy and program includes plans and toolsets to support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events disrupting Credit Union operations.&nbsp; ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Business Continuity<ul><li>Develop, maintain, execute and continuously improve processes and procedures pertaining to OnPoint’s Business Continuity (BC) program in alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g. FFIEC, NIST, etc.).</li><li>Develop and maintain resilience dashboards with AI-generated analytics and KPIs to track recovery readiness; Report program effectiveness and areas for improvement.</li><li>Conduct and maintain OnPoint's Business Impact Analysis (inventory of functions for all business units and the classification, ranking and dependencies for each). </li><li>Using data-informed models, analyze impact on and risk to essential business functions or systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements.</li><li>Serve as 'Subject Matter Expert' to business units to prepare comprehensive recovery plans and procedures for critical business functions.</li><li>Create and administer BCM related training, testing, and awareness presentations and materials.</li><li>Partner with Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) to ensure IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) and Incident Response plans align with business priorities and satisfy regulatory requirements.</li><li>Assist with the development and monitoring of all phases of IT/IS management procedures, continuity scenarios, and contingency plans for systems and networks to maintain operations during downtime and/or major events. </li><li>Serve as the relationship owner for third-party vendors related to the BC program and content manager of related software.</li><li>Leverage AI-drive tools to enhance the BC program through work process efficiencies, automations, and assessments; Partner with IT, IS and other teams to integrate AI capabilities into BC tools and processes.</li><li>Support the evaluation of current and prospective external vendors in order to confirm they have appropriate plans to recover from unexpected events, including Service Level Agreement guidelines.&nbsp;</li></ul>Crisis Management<ul><li>Coordinate closely with incident/crisis partners to develop and maintain appropriate Incident Management, Crisis Management, and other relevant plans (Weather, Earthquake, Pandemic, etc.).</li><li>Provide coordination, training, and exercise activities to support maintaining incident response capability.</li><li>Support the management of real events (incidents, crises etc.) 24x7 by facilitating the activation of incident management and crisis management plans in coordination with appropriate Incident and Crisis Management Teams.</li><li>Work closely with OnPoint Leadership to engage them in the principles of incident and crisis management, maintaining awareness and ensuring a coordinated ability to respond.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills &amp; Ability):<ul><li>Must have at least 6 years of crisis management, business continuity, contingency of operations, and/or disaster recovery experience, preferably in the financial services industry.</li><li>Education: Certification in Business Continuity, Emergency Management or similar with an accredited institution (DRI, BCI etc.); Bachelor’s degree preferred</li><li>Experience using business continuity software (ex: NContinuity, RiskConnect, Preparis, etc) preferred</li><li>Exceptional understanding of business continuity, crisis management, and incident response principles</li><li>Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations</li><li>Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills</li><li>Effective collaborative and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Ability to process rapid problem resolution, especially around a crisis or serious BC, health &amp;
