The ideal candidate will possess strong research, analytical, and communication skills, and a keen interest in understanding the evolving landscape of strategic risks to the Company.<ul><li>Strategic Risk Identification and Assessment:<ul><li>Collaborate with other subject matter experts and business unit teams to identify and document current and emerging strategic risks that could impact the Company's goals</li><li>Develop and apply risk assessment methodologies to evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified strategic risks.</li><li>Maintain and update the strategic risk taxonomy and material risk inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.</li></ul></li><li>Oversight Framework Development and Implementation:<ul><li>Assist in the design and implementation of frameworks, policies, and procedures for the effective oversight of strategic risks.</li><li>Contribute to the establishment of key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to monitor strategic risk exposure, drivers and performance.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of appropriate measures for establishing and monitoring the Company’s risk appetite for strategic risks and corresponding qualitative considerations and limits.</li><li>Support the development of reporting mechanisms to communicate strategic risk information to relevant stakeholders and committees.</li><li>Support the establishment of a process to oversee the process and review the strategic plan of the Bank and provide credible challenge across the planning horizon.</li></ul></li><li>Risk Monitoring and Analysis:<ul><li>Monitor strategic risk trends and changes in the internal and external environment that may impact the organization's risk profile.</li><li>Analyze risk data and provide insightful reports on strategic risk exposures, potential vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.</li><li>Track the implementation and effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and oversight activities.</li></ul></li><li>Collaboration and Communication:<ul><li>Partner with various departments and stakeholders to foster a strong risk-aware culture and integrate risk management considerations into strategic planning processes.</li><li>Communicate risk assessment findings, oversight activities, and recommendations clearly and concisely to different audiences, including senior management.</li><li>Participate in cross-functional teams and projects related to strategic initiatives and risk management enhancements.</li></ul></li><li>Continuous Improvement:<ul><li>Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in strategic risk management and oversight.</li><li>Contribute to the ongoing improvement of risk management methodologies, tools, and processes.</li><li>Support internal audits and reviews related to strategic risk and oversight functions.</li></ul></li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.</li><li>5 + years analyst experience</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior relevant experience in risk management, strategic planning or a related analytical role</li><li>Relevant professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA)</li><li>Knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory landscape, and methodologies.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.</li><li>Strong understanding of risk management principles, frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000), and methodologies.</li></ul>Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
