This colleague will be a central member of the Enterprise Payments COE that is tasked with driving an enterprise critical multi-year Multi-Rail Payments program established to (1) accelerate the development of our enterprise payment services and (2) redesign the operating model surrounding it to drive excellence in payment execution. This role will help to reshape and transform how payment products are built and delivered at American Express with a specific focus on defining product strategies for our payment controls. The Manager, Enterprise Payments Product Management will collaborate closely with Business, Delivery, and Technology to define the product vision and roadmap for AML and Payments compliance within Enterprise Payments.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Help define the product vision and strategy for A2A / money movement products and services used across American Express.</li><li>Drive product strategy for crucial strategies related to our payment controls</li><li>Evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities to further enhance the product value proposition.</li><li>Engage with and influence internal business stakeholders and partners to understand customer needs, flesh out use case details, collaborate on new/relevant product concepts, and&nbsp;co-develop solutions to deliver on Enterprise goals.</li><li>Identify opportunities to leverage existing payment capabilities to deliver value for new use cases or new markets.</li><li>Own, update, and prioritize the product roadmap including new capabilities, features, services, expanded markets, product integrations, decommission of products, etc.</li><li>Develop robust business cases to support prioritization of roadmap items.</li><li>Collaborate with Product owners to align on product roadmap including new product features and enhanced services, as required to deliver on the overarching strategy.</li><li>Define capabilities for new payment products and services, identify/prioritize use cases, and design “minimum viable product” features and user stories to ensure a focus on delivering maximum value.</li></ul>Requirements/Qualifications<ul><li>Relevant experience: Experience in product management, product development, management consulting, and/or strategy. MBA preferred.</li><li>Passion for payments: Passion for emerging payments, fintechs, and the evolving payments landscape (e.g., real time payments, PSD2, APM’s, etc.). AML/Payments controls expertise a must, and a knowledge of A2A money movement (ACH, wires, RTP, etc.) a plus.</li><li>Results-oriented: Passion to drive strategies to deliver results in a dynamic and highly matrixed environment.</li><li>Intellectual curiosity: High-intellectual curiosity, out-of-the-box, creative &amp; critical thinker with experience in complex problem solving and strategic thought leadership.</li><li>Entrepreneurial spirit: Ability to mobilize and lead cross-functional team collaboration to achieve results in a fast paced, multi-partner environment with constant change.</li><li>Highly collaborative: Ability to effectively collaborate with and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on shared objectives.</li><li>Agility: Ability to operate in ambiguity, white space, and an environment with quickly-evolving priorities.</li><li>Effective communicator and influencer: Ability to influence key partners and executive stakeholders.
