For more information, visit&nbsp;<a href="http://www.howmet.com/" target="_blank">www.howmet.com</a>.&nbsp;Follow @howmet: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.&nbsp;The Production Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, evaluating and improving training programs across all departments/shifts to ensure all operators have the knowledge and skills to perform their role within the organization.RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Work with subject matter experts, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure training content is relevant and aligns with organizational goals.</li><li>Monitor training program to meet goals and make implement changes as needed to meet department and plant goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate cross-training and upskilling initiatives to support operational flexibility.</li><li>Evaluates the effectiveness of training for each department based on monitoring employee performance and feedback.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve trainer skills for individuals and training teams, continuous development provided to trainers.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead management meetings with new hire trainers to communicate daily goals, identify any potential issues and determine path to resolution.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain constant communication with new hire trainers monitoring daily activities.</li><li>Accountability to ensure trainers are utilizing leader standard work and required training materials.</li><li>Ensure supervisors follow the training plan for each employee.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide feedback to trainees on progress and complete performance reviews during training process.&nbsp;</li><li>Deliver newly trained operators to the production team with acceptable efficiency and quality.&nbsp;</li><li>Selection and de-selection of trainers based on trainer capability and performance.</li><li>Support implementations of lean manufacturing, Hoshin Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives through targeted training.</li><li>Continuous improvement advocate for the training program by identifying areas for improvement and tracking to resolution.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate recordkeeping of training matrix, documents and activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage the tools and resources needed to meet training requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all other procedures and processes with maintaining safety and quality.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and participate in internal and external audits related to training.</li></ul>QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration or a related field</li><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in learning, development or training role</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
