Home to NASCAR’s Championship Weekend,&nbsp;Phoenix Raceway&nbsp;has been the premier motorsports venue in the Southwest since 1964 and hosts two NASCAR race weekends each year. In March, the Shriners Children's 500 NASCAR Weekend kicks off the race season at Phoenix Raceway, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series. In November, champions will be crowned in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series West. Security Event Staff - Phoenix Raceway

In March, the Ruoff Mortgage 500 NASCAR Weekend kicks off the race season at Phoenix Raceway, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series. In November, champions will be crowned in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series West. Phoenix Raceway also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including corporate meetings and conferences, charity events, holiday events, sport and endurance competitions, driving schools and Segway tours.Essential Functions:<ul><li>Perform Fire and EMS response functions (fire prevention, fire suppression, patient assessment / treatment)</li><li>Perform track restoration functions (fluid spills, debris collection)</li><li>Practice and maintain professional work ethic and appearance.</li><li>Shifts range from 6-16 hours depending on event.</li></ul>Certification Requirements:<ul><li>Current Firefighter certification, Emergency Services background, or Motorsports background </li><li>Current BLS CPR card (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)</li><li>Current ACLS card (Paramedics only) (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted.</li></ul>Qualifications/Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum age 18 years old.</li><li>High School Graduate/GED</li><li>Valid Driver’s License</li><li>Successfully pass a driving record check. (Preferred, not required)</li><li>Must attend mandatory annual training and complete required online training initially and annually.&nbsp;(All training is paid)</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Positive attitude!</li></ul> This is a temporary seasonal, event based position located in Avondale, AZ.
