Homestead-Miami Speedway has been open since 1995 following an initiative to spur economic recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. Security Services staff duties include locking/unlocking doors and gates at appropriate times, screen all persons entering ticketed and/or secure areas for valid credentials/tickets.
