Position Summary: This position reports to, and supports, the Director of Marketing and Communications, and in addition, provides support to the Director of Development and the Information System Support Supervisor. A key responsibility of this position is serving as one of the agency’s two receptionist, this one being based in Austin, TX. This position works closely with the Manager of Communications and the Coordinator of Digital Content, who are also based in Austin, TX. As a primary receptionist, this position answers incoming 1-800 phone calls and directing callers to the correct PCHAS department and staff member. Essential Job Functions<ul><li>Provides full-time coverage of the front desk with approved M-F hours (except during the summer schedule): 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.</li><li>Professionally represents the organization while answering calls and greeting in-person visitors</li><li>Provides clerical support for Development fundraising events, including enrolling luncheon guests into the Events Module (on behalf of all development officers) by preparing Texas luncheon name tags, table assignments, and pledge packets.</li><li>Manages donor stewardship activities, including first time donor postcards, taking credit card donations, calling donors when their credit cards expire, and mailing coupons.</li><li>Maintains office supplies inventory (including letterhead) and submits request for new supplies.</li><li>Assists with scheduling first floor Austin office meeting space for development staff and shipping items from Austin to remote development and program locations.</li><li>Maintains the agency’s phone script.</li><li>Processing approved thank you letters from the Vice President of Development</li><li>Coordinates all in-house development department mailing, and at times, with volunteers</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Requirements:
Minimum high school graduate, with advanced training or college coursework with databases preferred. Experience working with Blackbaud NXT preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of database management experience, preferably working for a non-profit organization preferred. Demonstrate initiative, efficient organization with time management skills and ability to set priorities. Must have good oral and written communication skills and able to maintain confidentiality in all areas related to the business, welfare and constituent information of the agency. Must have strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff throughout the agency. Other Requirements: Must hold a valid driver’s license, have and maintain a risk-free driving record.
