ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions<ul> <li>Works with the Sales Manager and management with the development of the department budget and sales forecasts.</li> <li>Map distribution customer purchases to end use.</li> <li>Identifies focus accounts and personally tracks the monthly performance of these accounts.</li> <li>Tracks quotes, booking and sales figures monthly and yearly.</li> <li>Works with the sales representatives on daily quotes; customer, pricing and sales strategies.</li> <li>Ensure that contract review is performed by the Sales representatives.</li> <li>Works with HFS Simi Valley departments and employees to understand and assist in other processes within the facility.</li> <li>Works with the Sales Manager and management with pricing agreement strategies.</li> <li>Provides other departments daily, monthly and other reports as requested.</li> <li>Works with customers and manufacturing on expedites including delinquent orders</li> <li>Provides regular performance feedback; Improves processes, products and services.</li> <li>Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives</li> <li>Execute price automation modeling&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to Process Improvements – Offer frontline insights into current processes and improvements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Workflow upgrades to reduce errors and improve processing times.</li> <li>Researching competitive market pricing and executing based on this intelligence&nbsp;</li> <li>Understanding import and export policies and procedures.</li> <li>Supervises Sales employees and carries out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.&nbsp;</li> <li>Mentoring and Training newly assigned personnel.</li> <li>Works with Human Resources on compliance of all company policies.</li> <li>Provide leadership to Sales group through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.</li> <li>Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.</li> <li>Continually works to improve leadership skills. Responsible for assistance in coordination of duties in the Sales Department. Carries out related responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
