JOB SUMMARYUnder direction of the Enterprise Risk Officer- Retail Delivery, this position performs a variety of risk-based engagements to support the achievement of Retail Delivery objectives. The Compliance and Quality Control Officer- Retail Delivery is primarily responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of quality control and compliance programs for the Retail Delivery department. This includes all phases of Retail operations quality control and auditing compliance measures. Performs risk mitigation through quality control measures. Monitors documentation and processes for accuracy, regulatory compliance and internal controls. Works in partnership with teammates and various business units to help ensure compliance/regulatory compliance and facilitates remediation efforts. Works on safety and soundness measures, process changes, and various projects.&nbsp;ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>Develop and perform audits of organization processes and functions within retail delivery to evaluate compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external laws and regulations. </li><li>Make recommendations for improvement of management controls, designed to further safeguard OnPoint assets and resources, promote enhanced member value and ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations. </li><li>Collect, review and analyze transaction data pertaining to memberships, deposit accounts, and loans to evaluate the level of compliance with specific organizational control requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversees the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancements of quality control policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during branch reviews.</li><li>Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly quality control monitoring and testing to include branch certifications. Conducts detailed reviews and assessments of quality control/ compliance-related activities and collaborate with other teams/departments to implement necessary improvements.</li><li>Partner with internal compliance and audit departments regarding new and changed regulations to determine impact to delivery units, guidelines and procedures. Reviews processes and procedure to identify gaps or potential issues.</li><li>Identify training opportunities based on monitoring/testing findings.&nbsp;Partners with Training and Development on branch operation related activities. </li><li>Partner with internal compliance and legal in the creation of new documents and changes to existing documents. Performs periodic review of document catalog and review documents/forms to ensure that all systems are using consistent forms, forms are accurate and up to date. </li><li>Regularly review Branch Security Manual procedures for compliant and regulatory adherence. </li><li>Travel to designated branches as necessary to complete above mentioned audits and assessments.</li><li>May perform other tasks as assigned.</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Ability to investigate, research and examine branch and business unit processes.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Ability to consult, build and maintain positive working relationships. Ability to navigate confrontational interactions diplomatically and constructively.</li><li>Ability to collect and analyze information, problem solve and make decisions through observation and inference.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills. Proven ability to work in a team environment. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of OnPoint’s Retail Delivery procedures and methods.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and coordinate a variety of assignments simultaneously.</li><li>Self-directed and able to perform within appropriate authority under limited supervision.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze compliance data and identify potential issues. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required&nbsp; </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work history preferred.</li><li>5+ years’ experience with bank or credit union branch operations, with 3+ years of experience with a focus on branch compliance tasks preferred.</li><li>Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) Designation or similar designation preferred, or ability to obtain Designation within 1st year in position. </li><li>Ability to travel to designated branches, up to multiple times per week.</li></ul>At OnPoint, we believe a workplace that reflects the richness of the world fosters a welcoming and empowering environment for everyone.
