Position PurposeWe are seeking a strategic and analytical Sales and Operations Planning (S&amp;OP) Manager to lead the integrated planning process for our North America construction equipment business. This role is pivotal in aligning demand forecasts with supply capabilities, optimizing inventory, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration to meet business objectives.Position Type: Exempt Major Tasks, Responsibilities &amp; Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Lead and facilitate the monthly S&amp;OP process, ensuring alignment across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.</li><li>Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from commercial teams.</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams to align supply plans with demand forecasts.</li><li>Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in the supply-demand balance and recommend mitigation strategies.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and service levels.</li><li>Support new product introductions and phase-outs through integrated planning.</li><li>Prepare and present S&amp;OP dashboards and reports to senior leadership.</li></ul><h4>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</h4><ul><li>Forecast Accuracy (%): Measure of how closely the forecast aligns with actual sales.</li><li>Inventory Turns: Efficiency of inventory usage across product lines.</li><li>Customer Service Level (%): Percentage of orders fulfilled on time and in full.</li><li>Supply Plan Adherence: Alignment of actual production with planned supply.</li><li>Excess &amp; Obsolete Inventory (%): Value of inventory not aligned with demand.</li><li>On-Time Delivery (OTD): Percentage of shipments delivered as scheduled.</li><li>Working Capital Impact: Effectiveness of planning in managing inventory investment</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.</li><li>5+ years of experience in S&amp;OP, demand planning, or supply chain management, ideally in the construction equipment or heavy machinery sector.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis, Anaplan, Netstock).</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.</li><li>Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software </li><li>Comfortable in an in-person office environment</li><li>Technical competence is a plus</li><li>Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level</li><li>Must have excellent follow-through skills </li><li>Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings</li><li>Must be open to domestic and international travel</li><li>Desire and proven ability to learn and grow </li></ul>Job Conditions<ul><li>Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment</li><li>Subject to noise and temperature changes</li></ul>Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
