This position is presently onsite/hybrid with the expectation that you are in the office three days per week with current campus days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion).</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and coach a team of Internal and Hybrid Wholesalers who are engaged in proactively marketing life insurance and annuity products and building professional relationships with agents.<br>• Develop skill levels of the members on your assigned team so that they are performing at the highest level considering both quantitative and qualitative measures.<br>• Build partnering relationships with National Life Group External Sales Team and with other business units to achieve assigned sales goals.<br>• Building and maintaining team morale, developing leaders on our teams utilizing formal professional development plans, and increasing the skill level of the Internal Wholesalers through targeted training and coaching, quality control and working to improve efficiency through the use of technology and sales enablement tools.<br>• Developing each direct report toward being the best Internal Wholesaler of their ability and toward their long term professional goals.<br>• Travel when necessary for training and relationship building <br>• Perform other duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br>• Bachelor's degree <br>• 5 years sales experience within Financial Services <br>• 2+ years management experience<br>• Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce.com) <br>• Superior written and oral communication skills required <br>• Ability to manage and supervise high performing teams <br>• The ability and desire to work in a challenging fast paced environment <br>• Up to 10% travel required</p><p><br><strong>Benefits</strong><br>• Your benefits start day one and are flexible and customizable to your and your family’s specific needs.
