The individual chosen for this position must meet the following minimum criteria: <ul><li>An earned doctoral degree from a CACREP-accredited Counselor Education or Rehabilitation Counseling program by start date</li><li>Certified rehabilitation counselor or demonstrate eligibility prior to start date</li><li>License-eligible in Kentucky by start date</li><li>Experience in (or show potential for) teaching core CACREP and specialized courses in the rehabilitation counseling and clinical mental health counseling master’s programs and the interdisciplinary disability studies undergraduate program</li><li>Show a willingness to teach, supervise, and mentor undergraduates and graduate students</li><li>Clinical and/or supervision experience in counseling</li><li>Experience working with individuals from varied backgrounds</li><li>Experience in use of instructional technology</li></ul> Responsibilities include the following: <ul><li>Perform teaching duties as an assistant or associate professor, three courses per semester, primarily for the undergraduate program</li><li>Conduct clinical supervision if needed</li><li>Provide service to the Counselor Education program; the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Counselor Education; the College of Education; and the University of Kentucky</li><li>Teach three courses each semester</li><li>Advise students across the undergraduate and master’s programs</li></ul> Additional responsibilities may include participating in curriculum assessment and development, contributing to program administration, and providing service to community and professional organizations.
