As a part of this unit, the RN serves as an important component of the multi-disciplinary team This position covers outpatient clinic and procedural area for the Radiation Oncology Clinic. The Nurse Clinical provides disease specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals who are working under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Attend in-service and continuing education offerings in compliance with company policy and procedure.</li><li>Assist with staff training as requested.</li></ul>
