SUMMARYThe Acute Registered Nurse provides acute dialysis care and treatment to patients within a hospital environment. This position performs duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Acute Manager, including assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians and Licensed Vocational Nurses. Acute nurses may report directly to an Acute Manager, Administrator or the first line of regional operational management which may be an Area Director, Regional Director, or Vice President of Operations, depending on the region/demographics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Adherence to all policies and procedures as set forth in Concern’s personnel manual.</li><li>Read log for updates, instructions, and assignments.</li><li>Provide counseling as needed, redirect to regular staff when appropriate.</li><li>Crisis intervention as needed.</li><li>Weekly medication counts, check for accuracy and corresponding documentation.</li><li>Perform hourly walk-thrus of site during shift.</li><li>Unlock kitchen and set out food for breakfast.</li><li>Participate in monitoring of morning meds as needed.</li><li>Prompt clients needing to wake early.</li><li>Attend site’s monthly staff meetings.</li><li>Participate in all trainings as required, including Relias Learning.</li><li>Attend agency forums.</li><li>Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.</li></ul> Salary: $19.00/hr.&nbsp; Position Requirements Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
