This position requires expertise in data architecture, analytics, and data products to build a robust, scalable, and secure data infrastructure that enables data-driven decision-making and delivers high-quality, impactful data products to our organization.Must have strong communication skills as you will be working with other departments to achieve your milestones.&nbsp; Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical person is preferred.Essential Functions/Responsibilities<ul><li>Architect, Design, and Develop: Design, architect and develop scalable data architectures, data models, reporting layers and Power BI reports for BI platforms and data warehouses.</li><li>Tool Selection and Strategy: Evaluate, select, and integrate BI tools and platforms to improve efficiency and capability.</li><li>Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize BI system performance and improve end user experience.</li><li>Data Governance &amp; Quality: Define and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, quality, security, and compliance.</li><li>Mentorship and Documentation: Provide technical leadership and mentorship and maintain documentation of BI systems, technical designs, workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and system maintenance.</li><li>Collaboration: Work with C-suite executives, analysts, and engineers to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.</li><li>Artificial Intelligence: Enable Automating data processes, generating advanced insights, and enhancing data-driven decision-making by leveraging AI capabilities within Azure and MS Copilot.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to prepare BI data sources (Power BI, SQL, SharePoint) for integration with Copilot agents and other LLM-based tools.</li><li>Ensure BI data models and reporting layers are optimized for consumption by Copilot agents, including semantic modeling and metadata enrichment.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends and Azure technologies, recommending improvements and innovations where appropriate.</li></ul>Education and/or Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).</li><li>7+ years in Business Intelligence, data warehousing, and data architecture.</li><li>Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models.</li><li>Expertise in data modeling and database/data warehouse design.</li><li>Expert proficiency and hands on experience with Power BI, DAX, MS Fabric, ETL tools including SSIS and Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Datalake storage, Python, SQL.</li><li>Experience with Azure cloud platform and big data technologies.</li><li>Expertise with data governance frameworks and industry compliance standards. </li><li>Hands on experience with Microsoft Copilot and LLMs for analytics/BI</li><li>Familiarity with Power Platform connectors, Microsoft Graph, and API integration for enabling Copilot agents</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders and troubleshooting complex issues.</li><li>Background in Construction, Single Family, Multi-Family, and/or Commercial Property Management and/or Accounting is a plus </li></ul>Skills/Specialized Knowledge<ul><li>Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills</li><li>Solid understanding of data structures, design patterns, and Business Intelligence</li><li>Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks for AI-enabled BI solutions.</li><li>Ability to support Copilot agent development by preparing and documenting BI data sources for AI consumption.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work in a deadline driver fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of autonomy while being a team player</li><li>Willingness and ability to learn and research independently</li><li>Sense of Urgency of delivery and ownership of work products</li></ul>About the Benefits of joining the Mill Creek Team<ul><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental and vision</li><li>Employer sponsored short and long term disability, Life and ADD insurance</li><li>401k with employer matching</li><li>Paid time off benefits: Vacation, Sick, Holidays</li></ul>JobFamilyInformation TechnologyJobFunctionOverheadPayTypeSalary
