This person is responsible for maintaining successful operations of the shift in the distribution center. Ensures the department has adequate staffing, proper training, the needed tools and resources, standards of productivity, safety and sanitation, and proper procedures of stocking, selection, and quality that will meet customer demands for accurate, quality, on-time deliveries. Sunday - Thursday 2pm start time. This position will be remote and come to the HQ (Temple, TX) once a month and will report to the Director of Construction and Network Facilities. Primary responsibilities involve managing construction projects throughout the United States. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing capital construction and new construction and renovation projects across multiple distribution centers nationwide. The position will also work closely with multiple distribution centers to resolve facility issues and support cost saving initiatives, strategic initiatives and any related to utilities and building operations Benefits you can count on: <ul><li>Pay rate: $117,000 to $130,000 per year.</li><li>This role is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan with a target incentive of 15% of your base annual salary.</li><li>Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance </li><li>Paid time off begins day one.</li><li>401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.</li><li>Additional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!</li></ul> What you'll do as a DC Construction Project Manager: <ul><li>Manage construction budgets, specify and obtain bid proposals</li><li>Develop and manage construction project budgets, including procurement of competitive bids.</li><li>Project review, coordination and management construction schedules</li><li>Manage and assist with distribution facility design, construction and repair projects</li><li>Support distribution center design, infrastructure upgrades, and repairs.</li><li>Manage budget, long-range planning and project planning for multiple facilities</li><li>Prepare, review and approve bid documents, drawings, purchase orders and procurement of furniture, fixtures and building equipment</li><li>Review and approve construction documents, specifications, and FF&amp;E procurement. You will review and approve all shop drawings and submittals</li><li>Complete yearly Building Condition Assessments (BCA) to maintain a healthy portfolio.</li><li>Assist distribution facilities with capital planning, budgets and estimates</li><li>Manage major building repair projects (HVAC, ammonia refrigeration, roofing, paving, etc.)</li><li>Lead repair and replacement of major infrastructure systems such as HVAC, ammonia refrigeration, paving, and roofing.</li><li>Coordinate and maintain building emergency procedures to include generator maintenance programs.</li><li>Support emergency preparedness planning, including oversight of generator maintenance.</li><li>Evaluate and implement cost savings initiatives related to utilities and building operating processes.</li><li>Identify and implement energy savings and operational efficiency improvements.</li><li>Maintain legal and construction document files and drawings</li><li>Manage large-scale material handling projects from conception to start up</li><li>Ensure that projects are implemented on time, under budget and achieve stated performance objectives</li><li>Lead and assist with new construction projects </li><li>Develop efficient layouts, workstations and material handling systems for existing and expanded facilities. </li><li>Support space planning and layout optimization for existing and future facility expansions.</li><li>Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align DCNF strategies with business goals and operational needs</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across Real Estate, Legal, HR and Operations to drive project success and process improvement.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects and day-to-day operations.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned. </li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a DC Construction Project Manager: <ul><li>Have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Science or related field</li><li>Have 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects in commercial, distribution, or industrial settings</li><li>Demonstrated success in construction project planning, budgeting, estimating, and execution</li><li>Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building infrastructure, and site development</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet)</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to leadership</li><li>Familiarity with permitting, building codes, and contractor/vendor management</li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
