From importing wind energy components to deploying leading-edge solar technology to help power terminal facilities, we are committed to continually evolving to meet our customers’ changing energy needs.Sprague is seeking a Truck Driver to join the Lawrence Operations team to deliver petroleum products to our customers via heavy commercial vehicle in the tri-state area (NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey).Your responsibilities will include: <ul><li>Delivering petroleum products from location to location via heavy commercial vehicle</li><li>Loading petroleum products onto the vehicle (may involve climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle, and moving oil chutes)</li><li>Off loading petroleum products at customer locations (may require same skills as mentioned above and /or carrying/pulling a hose)</li><li>Reconciling truck shipping and loading documents including DOT documents (i.e., timesheets and pre-trip inspection sheets)</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:<ul><li>CDL A with Hazmat Endorsement required</li><li>Ability to pass DOT physical exam</li><li>5 years’ experience driving/delivering petroleum products</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Flexibility to work in in a 24/7 - 365 day a year operation that includes day and night shifts</li><li>Ability to sit for 30 minutes to upwards of 2 hours while driving</li><li>Ability to stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour while unloading vehicle</li><li>Ability to walk to and from the vehicle (50 to 300 feet at one time)</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred </li></ul>We want to hear from you!Do you like to solve problems and consider yourself forward thinking? JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThis position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.JOB DESCRIPTION&nbsp;Essential Responsibilities: 1. Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.&nbsp;2. Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a “punch” list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.&nbsp;3. Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance department by tracking inventory used, returning unused items to the established location, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.&nbsp;4. Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.&nbsp;5. Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.&nbsp;6. Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment.&nbsp; &nbsp;Other Responsibilities:&nbsp; 1. Complies with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in the property’s routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.&nbsp;2.
