Under general supervision, performs a variety of microcomputer, multimedia, and VOIP telephone support duties. The principal emphasis is on applying basic technical skills and knowledge to support institutional microcomputer and telephone functions.
Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED with specialized computer training and a minimum of two years of related experience. • Demonstrated experience in working with Microsoft Windows operating systems and/or Apple Macintosh operating systems. • Understanding of networking and VOIP telephone systems. 
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree with previous experience as a Computer Technician. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot network, software, multimedia, and hardware problems. • Ability to install, maintain, and repair a variety of microcomputers, multimedia equipment, printers, and peripherals. • Ability to transfer or apply technology concepts across a variety of applications and hardware platforms. • Ability to communicate technical information to people with various levels of computer knowledge and interact well with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. • The ability to lift or move, with or without assistance, computer and computer-related equipment weighing up to 50 pounds may be required.
