This 1st shift&nbsp;DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN&nbsp;position will be located in our Research and Development Facility.&nbsp; Primary responsibilities will include: <ul><li>Multi-faceted role to assist with processes in a rapid tooling lab as well as in the manufacturing of prototype ceramic cores and wax patterns</li><li>Operate injection molding machines, and process prototype parts as required to meet customer requirements</li><li>Occasionally tasked with tooling and product inspections, both manual as well as with structured light scanning</li><li>Operate equipment in a rapid prototyping tooling environment, primarily additive (3D printing) in nature.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for standardizing/documenting procedures</li><li>Work closely with engineering and other technicians, with a common goal of producing quick turn core, pattern and casting solutions in support of both internal and external development projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate with numerous groups and juggle priorities in fast paced environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities, as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul> BASIC QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution&nbsp;</li><li>1+ years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.&nbsp; Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.&nbsp; Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</li></ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Associate degree in manufacturing industrial or mechanical technology from an accredited institution.</li><li>3+ years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment</li><li>Injection molding experience</li><li>Problem solving abilities</li><li>Comfortable using various basic windows based software, such as excel and word.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Strong math/mechanical aptitude </li><li>Strong work ethic</li><li>Self-starter, needing little supervision.</li><li>Able to work in a team environment.</li></ul> Howmet Aerospace Inc.
