Job Summary The POP (Point of Presence) Site Technician will be responsible to perform daily tasks in the market headend, POP sites, and hub sites.&nbsp; Installation of new equipment to include powering, racking and installation.&nbsp; Provide assistance to engineering and operations teams to support FTTH, CMTS, and analog RF transmitters/receivers.&nbsp; Participate in on-call rotation for Headend and hub sites.Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Installation of new equipment (CMTS, servers, routers, switches, PON) to include racking, powering, network cabling as required</li><li>Maintenance of DC rectifier plants, testing of batteries, UPS testing, generator testing that includes full load transfers.&nbsp; Ability to use volt/amp meter to diagnose and correct in site electrical power issues.</li><li>Wiring/testing of RF cabling to support cable modem systems and headend lasers/receivers</li><li>Wiring and testing of PON OLTs to include measurement of fiber with OTDRs</li><li>Assist engineering and operations with the turn-up of DWDM circuits to include fiber cross connects and fiber testing as necessary.</li><li>Maintain PMs on RF plant, DC plant, and generators.</li><li>Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting ability to identify an issue.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and company policies</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Requirements/QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalentExperience:<ul><li>2+ years of experience in telecom working in a data center or network support role</li><li>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</li><li>Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, BGP, routing/switching) and related hardware</li><li>Hands-on experience with tools such as multimeters, OTDRs, and cable testers</li><li>Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical documents</li><li>Basic knowledge of power systems, HVAC, and rack layouts</li><li>Ability to work independently and in on-call or after-hours scenarios</li><li>Able to navigate confined spaces with or without accommodation.</li></ul>We're Proud to Offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including:<ul><li>401k retirement plan, with employer match</li><li>Insurance options including: medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off/Vacation: Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organization</li><li>Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year</li><li>Paid Holidays: 7 days per year</li><li>Paid Sick Leave: Astound allows a number of paid sick hours per calendar year and varies based on state and/or local laws</li><li>Tuition reimbursement program</li><li>Employee discount program</li></ul>*Benefits listed above are for regular full-time position&nbsp;Base Salary: The base salary range in Texas for this position is $34.00 - $43.00/hr, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. <h4>How you will change lives</h4>As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients. The PCT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) for patients with renal failure.<h4>What you'll be doing</h4>Patient care. You will work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include gathering patient stats before and after treatment, initiating treatment, monitoring patients during treatment, terminating treatment, and collecting patient blood samples per physician orders.Technician Duties.
