Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an ATR Mechanic - Millwright and Pumps to work on our Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) Mechanical Maintenance team. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our ATR facility with every Friday off.&nbsp; You will perform facility maintenance and troubleshooting activities with a specialized focus on millwright tasks and pump systems. You will perform installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and mechanical drive systems. You will report to the foreman of the Mechanical Maintenance department.&nbsp; Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform corrective and preventative maintenance with emphasis on pump systems and millwright operations.</li><li>Install, align, and maintain rotating equipment including centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.</li><li>Use precision alignment tools (e.g., laser alignment, dial indicators) and vibration analysis equipment.</li><li>Dismantle and reassemble mechanical components such as gearboxes, couplings, and shafts.</li><li>Maintain and repair small motors, valves, and mechanical drive systems.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Participate in work planning, material identification, and procurement.</li><li>Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all safety and work control requirements.</li><li>Support on-the-job training (OJT) and escort duties as needed.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience in millwright or pump maintenance, or a 2-year vocational training/certification and 3 years of experience in millwright or pump maintenance.</li><li>Strong knowledge of millwright practices and pump mechanics.</li><li>Must complete ATR Mechanic Qualification and other training as directed.</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.&nbsp;</li></ul> Job Information:&nbsp; <ul><li>The pay for this position is $44.07/hr (Rate can vary based upon individual work location, clearances, and qualifications.
