Burns, brazes, solders and performance simple layout, fabrication and welding in the servicing of electrical and electronic equipment, including related piping and mechanical component.</li> <li>Makes either temporary or permanent repairs or adjustments to equipment such as main motor drives, generators, control panels, relays, controllers, switchboards, circuit breakers, lighting circuits, resistors, etc.</li> <li>Install and repairs conduit, splicers, and insulates wires and cables, making splices on hot lines, isolates circuits for repairs.</li> <li>Maintains integrating, indicating, or graphic electrical or mechanical instruments.</li> <li>&nbsp;Makes mechanical repairs are required in connection with the servicing of electrical and electronic equipment including cranes.</li> <li>Advises when faulty equipment should be shut down for repairs.</li> <li>Tests, repairs and/or adjusts electronic scales to correct any variation from accuracy.</li> <li>Test, repairs and adjust electrical meters, such as osillograph, tachometers, ampmeter, voltmeter, power factory meters, phase shifter, etc.</li> <li>Cleans, paints, and lubricates equipment such as bearings, lights, reflectors, switch boxes, controls, pumps, compressors, fans, ect.</li> <li>Installs, repair and maintains power transmission lines, transformer, high tension sub station equipment such as disconnects, switch gear, bushings, insulator slings, lighting arrestors, phase wire grounding equipment.</li> <li>Assists other maintenance or operating personal in repair work as required.</li> <li>Fills out reports of maintenance work performed, parts and materials used, inspections made, etc.</li> <li>Operates cranes, machinery, mobile equipment, hydraulics lifts; erects and dismantles pepe scaffolds and performs necessary rigging duties in connection with the servicing of electrical and electronic equipment.</li> <li>Maintains a safe, clean&nbsp;and orderly conditions of work area and equipment.</li></ul>Pay Rate and Benefit<ul> <li>The combined rate of pay for this position is $33.90. &nbsp;This includes a base pay rate of $28.90 and $5 flat rate incentive per hour. &nbsp;</li> <li>We offer medical, dental, vision, 401k</li></ul>The above statements reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job identified and shall not be constructed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job.Qualifications *Qualifications for Internal Candidates &nbsp; Basic Requirements<ul> <li>Must have completed a recognized, appropriate apprenticeship or have at least eight (8) years of relevant on-the-job industrial electrical experience, to include digital electronics, PLC’s, combustion, and instrument repair, or a two (2) year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent) with two (2) years of relevant on-the-job industrial electrical experience.</li> <li>High School diploma or GED</li> <li>Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely and follow safety practices and regulations; Must be willing and able to work any shift in a 24/7 operation and overtime including weekends and holidays.</li> <li>Ability to lift at least 50lbs as needed.</li> <li>Must have basic computer skills to create work orders, complete work orders, plan work, identify parts, and locate spare parts using a computerized maintenance management system after training.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to legally operate company motor vehicles and mobile equipment.</li> <li>Must have strong math skills including reading fractions and decimals.</li> <li>Must have strong troubleshooting skills; Basic welding and flame cutting experience with a basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.&nbsp;</li> <li>The position requires an individual to stand, climb, work at heights, stoop, move equipment; bend, reach, or lift for prolonged periods of time.&nbsp;</li> <li>PPE includes FR9 clothing, safety glasses, hard hat, and steel toed boots with metatarsal protection, hearing protection and other safety equipment as required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Qualified candidates must be able to pass a background test, physical&nbsp;and drug screen.</li> <li>​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
