This Shuttle Driver is responsible for the delivery of full trailers to the Domicile and taking empty trailers back to the Distribution Center. Benefits you can count on: <ul><li>Pay Rate: Shuttle Drivers make $305.00 a day</li><li>Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance.</li><li>Paid holidays, earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one. </li><li>401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.</li><li>Additional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!</li></ul> What you'll do as a Shuttle Driver: <ul><li>Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report. </li><li>Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport. </li><li>Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations. </li><li>May at times perform line haul and/or backhaul. </li><li>Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a Shuttle Driver Teammate: <ul><li>At least 21 years of age </li><li>Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) </li><li>At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience </li><li>Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
