<p><strong>Disbursement Service Technician </strong></p><p><em>Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.</em>&nbsp;</p><p>Summary&nbsp;</p><p>The Disbursement Service Technician is responsible for processing all requests associated with dividend changes and cash disbursements on the enterprise’s insurance and individual annuity products.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Processing of returned dividend checks and related correspondence</li><li>Process disbursement accounting transactions for surrenders, withdrawals and policy loans</li><li>Process various policy quote requests from the agents, customers and third parties</li><li>Responsible for communicating with career and independent office staff, agents and customers via email, telephone or regular mail to provide policy information</li><li>Manage request for ACH drafts/wire transfers with treasury department; validate that transactions are completed and accounted for accurately in the administrative system</li><li>All financial transactions involve use of Lawson system</li><li>Monitoring of areas clearing accounts and monthly reconciliations using Blackline</li><li>Process address change requests</li><li>Administrative and related support system functions</li></ul><p>Job Requirements</p><ul><li>Associates degree a plus; high school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant business or accounting classes&nbsp;</li><li>2+ years of office experience with A/R, A/P or bookkeeping experience</li><li>Knowledge of life insurance products preferred</li><li>Excellent, proven technical skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Access database knowledge preferred</li><li>Professional communicator using all available media (e-mail, voice mail, written, oral)</li><li>Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure is essential</li><li>Detail, goal and deadline oriented</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to be a strong contributing member of a team&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Overtime work is required as needed, and can be on short notice</li></ul><h6>The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position.
