Job Summary
Maysville Community &amp; Technical College is currently seeking a full time, 10-month, term contract position to serve the Montgomery (Mount Sterling) Campus for a Registered Nursing Instructor. Plans and carries out instruction and instructional activities and prepares learning materials for special study. Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice for Nursing. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on students' attainment and progress. Maintains order and discipline. Keeps abreast of technical changes in the field and keeps the program updated. Participates in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and technical expertise. Provides follow-up services to assist in student placement, improved courses of instruction, and promote public relations.




Job Duties:
The instructor will be responsible for classroom lecture, supervising students in the college laboratory and clinical areas associated with the Montgomery Campus RN Program. Assists in planning, implementing, evaluating and updating the program. Provide and participate in National Accreditation duties as assigned and for the RN program. Additional duties will include academic advising, committee work, internal and external service and professional development.




Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. Current active, unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Kentucky. Two years full time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse in the hospital setting within the immediate past five years.&nbsp;

BSN or master's in nursing preferred

Job Summary
Troubleshoots and performs preventative maintenance on all utility systems including electrical circuits, motor controls, safety circuits, and HVAC systems utilizing specialized equipment and skills. Grounds maintenance/ie mowing/snow removal. Complete all necessary paperwork, assists with inventory etc, keep updated SDS and campus inspections, assists contractors with repairs and inspections. Position is on the MCTC Rowan Campus. 




Job Duties:
Assist and/or responding to emergency calls and or break downs, help troubleshoot and performs corrective maintenance on all utility systems including single and 3 phase electrical circuits, lighting circuits, HVAC units, automated systems and building alarm situations. Performs corrective maintenance on pneumatics, plumbing fixtures and buildings piping systems, performs basic carpentry skills and general building maintenance. Complete all necessary paperwork for purchases, re-order supplies and parts, and perform campus inspections. Performs cleaning in the absence of custodial staff if necessary for coverage of assigned area (classrooms, offices, commons and disinfecting and maintenance of restrooms). Assists with event set-up, moving of furniture and/or equipment. Operates equipment ie; (forklift, lawn equipment, snow removal eq.) Maintains grounds by blowing off walks, mowing, pulling weeds in flower beds, picking up trash around campus, empty outside trash cans, salting lots walks and snow removal. (forklift and other trainings will be provided). Assists with SDS labeling and removal of hazardous waste. Assist with contractors repairs and safety inspections of the campus buildings. Performs minor repairs and maintenance on equipment such as tractors, mowing equipment and vehicles. Opens and locks buildings when required. Other duties as assigned including working on-call as necessary for emergency situations or as assigned. 




Minimum Qualifications:
High school degree with 1-3 years of experience. This position requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods, climb ladders and stairs, operate various equipment (e.g., forklifts, lawn mowers, snow removal tools), and perform manual tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments, including working in varying weather conditions.&nbsp;

Inspects trailer to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport of product.</li><li>Rides and trains with Driver Trainer of tractor-trailer to various destinations, gaining knowledge of commercial driving regulations and observing the Driver's skill in starting engine properly, approaching intersections, making turns, backing, parking, and maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.</li><li>Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.</li><li>Assists the Driver in unloading trailer and delivering product into customer premises.</li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a Driver Trainee Teammate: <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>Meet eligibility requirements in the McLane Transfer and Promotion Policy.</li><li>Complete training and receive Class A CDL in 6 months or less.</li><li>Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by McLane customers.</li><li>Stand, walk, sit, climb, reach, bend, squat, and stoop to accomplish the essential job functions.</li><li>Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.</li><li>Perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product.</li><li>Communicate with customers, management, and other teammates.</li><li>Safely drive a tractor-trailer, use a 2-wheeled dolly, ramp, and on board PeopleNet devices. </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
