JOB SUMMARY

The Equity and Human Resources Director provides strategic leadership and organizational oversight for human resources, equity, diversity, inclusion, and workplace culture. This position is responsible for developing and implementing equitable HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment law, overseeing employee relations and organizational culture, and embedding equity principles into hiring, compensation, leadership development, and organizational decision-making. The Director serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on workforce strategy, organizational change, and equity-centered practices to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

HOURS AND TRAVEL:

Hybrid schedules are available as appropriate for job duties and subject to supervisor approval. This position is based in our Tualatin office with some ability to work remotely

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in a union environment is strongly preferred.

  • Human Resources certification preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is a full-time exempt position. ONA offers an annual starting salary range of $135,000 – 170,000 depending on experience.

ONA also offers an exceptional benefits package including total employer coverage of cost (100%) of medical, dental and vision premiums, as well as employer paid long and short-term disability and life insurance. Opportunity to enroll in 401K plan after 6 months of employment which includes a 3% employer contribution, 4% match, with additional longevity contributions after 5 years. Annual PTO is 25 vacation days, 8 personal days and 12 sick leave days.
