The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks to support our operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all activities.Key Responsibilities:Safety and PPE:<ul><li>Select and use task-specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li><li>Adhere to safe work habits to protect self and others.</li><li>Practice hand safety and follow hazardous communication protocols.</li><li>Ensure grinding safety and control of hazardous energy (LOTO).</li></ul>Equipment Operation and Maintenance:<ul><li>Operate forklifts and perform crane pre-use inspections and operations.</li><li>Conduct crane rigging, use slings and lift devices safely.</li><li>Perform machine guarding and basic machine maintenance, including pre-use inspections and blade changes.</li><li>Operate and maintain chop saws, shears, drill presses, pedestal grinders, sanders, and saws.</li><li>Handle pipe threading, tubing bending, and kitting operations.</li><li>Conduct waterjet, gun drill, and painting operations, including surface preparation and sand blasting.</li><li>Perform plasma cutting and plate roller operations.</li><li>Tear down and clean equipment such as dwell tanks and heatshields.</li></ul>Material Handling and Management:<ul><li>Handle materials safely, including identification, labeling, inventory, and cycle counts.</li><li>Manage waste streams, including scrap metal and environmental considerations.</li><li>Perform material selection, handling, setup, and programming for specific tasks.</li><li>Proficiently operate saws, disc waterblast, water jet, gun drill, and press break equipment.</li></ul>Quality and Production:<ul><li>Interpret blueprints and ensure production meets shop standards.</li><li>Identify defects and ensure quality control.</li><li>Perform data entry for quality tracking and use SAP for confirmations, picking, and material lookup.</li><li>Maintain attention to detail and meet or exceed production standards.</li><li>Solve problems, perform rework, and adapt to non-routine tasks.</li><li>Implement 5S methodology and handle quality spills and engineering tasks.</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures, scales, micrometers, calipers, and squares.</li><li>Apply basic shop math for measurements, geometry, volume, and area calculations.</li><li>Operate computer systems for email, safety skills, Workday, and SharePoint.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in SAP for material movements and SLOC/bin locations.</li><li>Perform precision measurements and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).</li></ul>General Duties:<ul><li>Maintain housekeeping standards.</li><li>Use common hand tools effectively.</li><li>Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) comprehension and sign-off.</li></ul>Department Specific Requirements<ul><li>Alloy<ul><li>Inventory Control:&nbsp;
