

Music Teacher
Qualifications:
NJ Music Certification
Demonstrated success teaching instrumental music, particularly at the secondary education level
Strong organizational skills with experience managing large groups and complex schedules
Proficiency in scheduling tools, communication platforms, and music-specific technology
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, administration, parents, and community partners
High energy, creativity, and a passion for music education
Collaborate with other music and fine arts faculty to ensure a cohesive music education pathway
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation
Promote student engagement, inclusivity, and achievement in the music program
Locations: Carusi Middle School, Rosa Middle School, West High School
Extra duties as determined or assigned by the building Principal
Salary: $60,653 - $115,891 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications

All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the AppliTrack portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
