Job Summary
The primary purpose of the full-time Maintenance Technician II is to provide general maintenance with an emphasis on commercial equipment and upkeep of building and grounds to maintain a safe and clean environment for learning.




Job Duties:
• Perform HVAC monitoring/maintenance for commercial buildings that would include knowledge in boilers, chillers and water source heat pumps (geo-thermal and water source heat pumps). • Perform general electrical repairs and service that includes working with voltages ranging from 120 to 480. Required to install receptacles, switches, breakers, ballast, and replace light fixtures. • Perform general commercial plumbing repairs and maintenance. • Perform dry wall repairs, painting repair, door repair, hanging, and installation of ceiling and floor tiles. Must be comfortable on ladders or scaffolds up to 30 feet. • Performs grounds maintenance such as: mowing, weed eating, trimming trees, planting, snow removal, parking lot repairs. Clean leaves, dirt, and debris from building entryways. Inspect and clean sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways as needed. Pick up trash across campus and its perimeter. • Perform general equipment repairs and furniture assembly. • Perform general custodial duties when custodial workers are off the schedule. Assists with set up and tear down for campus events with the custodial workers. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or Director of Maintenance &amp; Operations.

Job Summary
We’re looking for a passionate and student‑centered Automotive Technology Instructor to join our Transportation Technologies team. If you enjoy helping students build real‑world automotive skills, thrive in a hands‑on learning environment, and want to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of technicians, this is the role for you. **Applicants selected for an interview will be required to give a short (approximately 15 minutes) teaching demonstration on the topic to be determined before the interview. 10-month faculty contracts span the academic year, typically from August to May, with no course assignments during June and July. Although the contract covers 10 months, the salary is spread over 12 months, ensuring a consistent monthly salary. Benefits are provided year-round. Renewal of the contract depends on factors such as student enrollment and available funding. Faculty may be assigned courses that include both traditional college students and high school students earning dual credit. This dynamic mix offers a unique opportunity to engage learners at different stages of their academic journey. 




Job Duties:

<li>Teach a full‑time course load each fall and spring in Automotive Technology, using both traditional classroom instruction and web‑enhanced formats. 
</li>
<li>Deliver high‑quality instruction in automotive theory, diagnostics, repair, and industry best practices. 
</li>
<li>Maintain an organized, safe, and well-equipped lab and classroom environment. 
</li>
<li>Stay up to date on automotive industry trends and help ensure the curriculum remains current. 
</li>
<li>Participate in department and college committees as needed. 
</li>
<li>Advise students academically and support their educational and career goals. 
</li>
<li>Assist in program activities, including student recruitment, retention, and assessment. 
</li>
<li>Teach at a variety of levels to support the college’s instructional needs.

<li>Be willing to work daytime and/or evening hours as needed.

<li>Summer teaching opportunities with additional compensation may be available and encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician. 
</li>
<li>Current ASE Master Technician Certification. 
</li>
<li>Detail-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work independently and adapt seamlessly to fast-paced, dynamic environments. 
</li>
<li>Skilled in engaging and supporting students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. 
</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines.

<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word).&nbsp;</li>

Preferred Qualifications:
