The VP, SOX Assessment, Advisory and Testing will:<ul><li>Ensure end-to-end program planning, execution, governance and annual scoping for SOX testing and deficiency evaluation</li><li>Own the SOX control framework for process, application and IT general controls (ITGCs) across the enterprise </li><li>Perform ongoing risk assessment activities to incorporate changes in the business processes and technology landscape, and evaluate and implement control improvements as needed</li><li>Manage testing strategies for control design and operating effectiveness, including reliance models with internal and external auditors </li><li>Monitor control deficiencies, root cause analysis and track remediation plans for significant issues</li><li>Prepare and deliver timely and effective reports including SOX program status, trends, evaluation, and remediation of deficiencies to senior leadership and risk committees of the Company</li><li>Collaborate with the enterprise control management functions to align on and implement SOX control expectations across business processes</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate SOX audits and ensure timely completion and resolution of issues</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and strong financial reporting risk awareness across the enterprise </li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>15+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit or financial risk management, preferably within the financial services industry</li><li>In depth knowledge of SOX 302 and 404 requirements, COSO framework, PCAOB and AICPA standards and expectations with respect to testing and deficiency evaluation </li><li>Familiarity with various control testing methodologies, such as walkthroughs, sampling etc. to verify the effectiveness of controls</li><li>Experience with ITGC’s, IT applications controls (ITAC’s) and emerging technologies (cloud, AI)</li><li>Skills in assessing control deficiencies, including root cause analysis and aggregation, and the ability to implement sustainable remediation plans </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact and obtain buy-in from senior BU counterparts</li><li>Ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity in a highly matrixed, global organization</li><li>Demonstrated history and ability to manage large teams, spread over geographies&nbsp;and with varying backgrounds</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Business, or a related field </li><li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA),&nbsp;Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification required; other risk or audit certifications a plus</li></ul>Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
