POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must fulfill duties of all previous grades;
- Read blueprints;
- Perform plumbing work using copper crimping tools;
- Install plumbing fixtures;
- Repair faucets;
- Repair plumbing lines;
- Rough-out plumbing services;
- Solder, braze, etc.;
- Lay out jobs and assist in scheduling work;
- Complete finish work;
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Educational Background
- High School Diploma and 4 years of current plumbing experience is required.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Must possess the strength and dexterity needed to perform the job and the physical ability to move equipment as necessary;
- Must adhere to operational safety rules and regulations as deemed by the College;
- Must be able to follow directives and possess good communication skills and ability to interact with building/office occupants effectively;
- Must be able to work alone and with others;
- Must possess working plumbing knowledge;
- Must be able to use all hand and power tools e.g.,: all saws, hand snakes, threading machine and hand drills and freeze kits.
